 This two-day event is held the first Saturday and Sunday in December at Battlefield Park South which is located just south of the Great Bridge “bridge,” which is the original site of the Battle of Great Bridge Dec. 9, 1775. Step back in time with us. The event features re-enactments the Battle of Great Bridge both days. The event also features Revolutionary War encampments, demonstrations, character portrayals, camp life, historical displays and lectures, skilled artisans demonstrating early American trades, and children’s crafts and activities.
