We will be working on removing wintercreeper ground cover near Half Moon Beach to complement Free-A-Tree and amur honeysuckle removal work in the same area.

If volunteers prefer to work on Free-A-Tree and bring pruners and/or handsaws, we can work on Free-A-Tree either in the same location or in an area between the creek and Riverside Drive.

Location meet-up: Parking lot of Pony Pasture at 7310 Riverside Drive.
Please note that entrance to park is to the west of the traffic circle at the intersection of Rockfalls and Riverside. (Left turn at traffic circle from Rockfalls.)

PLEASE:
–wear sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots, socks that cover ankles, long pants, and, if comfortable, a long sleeved shirt as well.
–bring work gloves
–bring water
