LOVE VA is a statewide anti-litter campaign that takes place over two months in Autumn, from September 15 to November 15. It provides a platform, resources, and incentives to engage individuals and groups to make their communities cleaner, greener, and more beautiful. Fall is a great time for litter cleanups, tree plantings, recycling drives, and other community improvement activities!

The 2025 LOVE VA season will kick-off with the bi-annual  “Pick up with Pups” cleanup with the Richmond SPCA on September 21.  We’ll conclude with “America Recycles Day” activities in November.

Event will include litter cleanups, recycling drives, beautification efforts, wildflower seed packet distribution, giveaway contests for sustainability products, and other prizes and incentives for participation.  

If you received a packet of our Wildflower Seeds as a “thank you” for volunteering at a cleanup, or at one of our event booths, or if you requested one when you took the pledge to end litter, you can learn more about which varieties of seeds are in the packet and some growing tips if you click here.

There will be opportunities to join existing events, or to organize one on your own or with a group.  We’ll provide resources, incentives, materials, fun activities, and prizes throughout the campaign, so stay tuned to our social channels regularly.
