Celebrate Earth Day 50 all week long!

April 18: Leave No Trace
2-3 p.m. Visitor Center
Learn how to can enjoy nature and leave it better than you found it. Hand on activity includes a hike.

April 19: Eco-Trekker
2-4 p.m. Visitor Center
Visitors will gain skills on how to minimally impact the environment,plan adventures with a purpose and make a difference during and after our hike. This event fulfills all requirements for the Cadet Girl Scout Eco-Trekker Badge.

April 20-24: Crafts, Games and Activities
8-4 Visitor Center
The Visitors Center will have Earth Day themed craft and activities tables.There will be different activities each day,so join us as much as you can.

April 25: Great Global Cleanup: Widewater Edition
10-12 a.m. Visitor Center
Widewater has partnered with The Earth Day Network and with their partners across the nation and the globe. Together we’re building Earth’s largest cleanup crew. Be part of the largest environmental volunteer event in history.

April 26: The Lifecycle of a Plastic Bag
1-2 p.m. Visitor Center
Where did your grocery bag come from? How long does it get used? Where does it go when its done with its useful life? Meet our park rangers and discover all the answers.

All activities are Free and open to the public. Parking fee required.
