James City County is collaborating with Williamsburg Botanical Garden and the JCC Clean County Commission to host an event on April 24 in celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day. The tree-planting ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Williamsburg Botanical Garden located inside Freedom Park at 5537 Centerville Road. The rain date is Sunday, April 25. According to Executive Order 72, 100 people are currently allowed to gather for an outdoor event. The event will require masks and practice social distancing.
