Last Chance to Win a Cleanup Kit
In the current world where a lot is going crazy, and many things are out of our control, we’re happy to say there are some good things to report. We’ve had a terrific response from so many people wanting to receive one of the Cleanup Kits we’re giving away! That must mean that the citizens of Virginia care about removing litter from our landscape, and they are willing to do something about it!
We ask on our entry form what you would do if you received a kit, and the answers are inspiring. Many people want to clean up litter with their families as a way to make their children aware of the problem, and learn good habits to properly dispose of litter and recyclable items. Not to mention getting outside for a change of scenery!
Other responses include, “I want my neighborhood to look like a park!” and “To clean up our beautiful rural roads!” There are also many Scouts that want to clean up, as well as school kids, school PTA’s, and school principals!
There are a few more days left in October to fill out an entry form if you want to win a Cleanup Kit. Ten names will be chosen the first week of November, and the kits will be shipped to you at no cost. We just want to know that you’ll use the kit to grab all the litter you can!
On a related note, we also have ten Cigarette Butt Receptacles to give away in October. If you have a business or organization that would use and maintain a receptacle to help combat cigarette butt litter, the world’s most littered item, let us know that you’d like to receive a receptacle. Ten names will be chosen from those that are submitted before midnight on October 31st.
