Keep Portsmouth Beautiful Wins 30 in 30

Keep Portsmouth Beautiful has been awarded a 30 in 30 Grant of $750 in the Recycling category.

They will install recycling containers at the nTelos Pavilion, a 6500 seat capacity Amphitheatre on Portsmouth’s waterfront.   The recycling containers will be easy for venue patrons to use, and an effective means of reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills. The City has a successful residential curbside recycling program, but until now did not have recycling program at this large event facility. Recycling will begin during the first concert after the containers have been installed. We’re proud to help them with this 30 in 30 Grant.
