Congrats to our 30 in 30 Winners!

Another year of 30 in 30 Grants has drawn to a close.  This is our fourth year of providing Thirty Grants in 30 Days, and our honor at awarding these checks to our deserving groups grows a bit each year.  This year also (as in years past) saw us awarding grants for schools, nonprofits, community groups, municipalities, and our State Parks.  Since our first 30 in 30 year, we’ve given out over $90,000 to 120 recipients.  And we’re certainly not loaded with money.  We count on donations from folks like you to do many of the things that we do as Keep Virginia Beautiful, and this year we were lucky to receive great sponsorships from MeadWestVaco and the Lowe’s Charitable and Education Foundation for our 30 in 30 program.  You can read through the individual blogs announcing each 2014 30 in 30 winner, but here’s a list of all of our winners:

Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce, Belvedere Elementary School, Chatham High School FFA, Clarksville Elementary School, Department of Conservation and Recreation Division of Natural Heritage, Highland Springs High School, Hopewell City Public Schools, J.
