We awarded the Town of Richlands a $1,000 30 in Thirty grant for their Cigarette Litter Prevention Project.
We awarded Seatack Elementary in Virginia Beach a $500 30 in Thirty grant for their project, “Growing a Greener and Cleaner World.”
Keep Prince William Beautiful will use their $1,000 30 in Thirty grant award to participate in the National Planting Day Beautification Event.
They will use this money to finish the construction of a rainwater collection system.
It is their plan to install a cleanup station at the central location of their tennis courts. This station will educate residents and visitors about the impacts of litter, while also providing the opportunity to put litter in its place, and make a positive impact in the community.
The Guardian Angels will construct raised flower beds in selected front yards in Jackson Ward.
We awarded Friends of Peak Creek (FOPC), an organization based in Pulaski, a $750 30 in Thirty grant for their litter prevention project.
