Suffolk Recycling Drive & Tire Amnesty Day

The City of Suffolk will host a recycling drive and tire amnesty day on September 14, 2019. The below items will be accepted.
Materials Recycled

  • Aluminum Cans
  • Batteries
  • Bottles (Number 1 and Number 2)
  • Cardboard
  • Cell CFL lightbulbs (no long tubes)
  • Computers
  • Cordless tools
  • Electronics
  • Flat screen Televisions – no TVs with tubes
  • Furniture
  • Gently used clothing
  • Glass
  • Household Paper
  • Phones
  • Plastic bags
  • Steel
  • Tin
  • Tires – Tires must be automobile and light truck weight/size. No greater than a 22-inch inside diameter and no rims.
Household Hazardous WasteView a full list of items collected. You must prove you are a Suffolk resident when dropping off materials.
On-site Shredding – Bring no more than 3 brown bags of documents to be shredded. Please remain with your documents until shredded.
The Lions Club – Please bring your old eye glasses and hearing aids.  Plus you can buy a new broom from this awesome charity.
