Time: 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Location
Pony Pasture

Region

We’ll be removing wintercreeper ground cover near Half Moon Beach to complement Free-A-Tree and amur honeysuckle removal work in the same area. This allows native tree and shrub seedlings to survive and native plants in the ‘seedbank’ to regenerate on their own.

Location meet-up: Pony Pasture parking lot. Note that entrance to park is to the west of the traffic circle intersection of Rockfalls and Riverside (a left turn from Rockfalls).

No tools are necessary unless you would like to have a hand rake or trowel.

Please bring work gloves.

Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots, socks that cover ankles, long pants, and, if comfortable, a long sleeved shirt.
