Local volunteers have removed over 7 million pounds of trash from County roadsides and illegal dump sites during the annual Spring Cleanup over the last 4 decades. Each year volunteers give their time and energy to collect trash in areas where it would have otherwise polluted the environment. Litter collected as part of the 40th Annual Countywide Spring Cleanup may be disposed of for free at the Jolly Pond Transfer Station.
