The International Coastal Cleanup in Virginia WILL be held in Sept & Oct 2020, ALL over Virginia (with social distancing requirements). The litter hasn’t stopped, and neither should we! Take this opportunity to get out into nature…and help make it cleaner. Cleanups that are open-to-the-public can be viewed here: http://www.longwood.edu/cleanva/cleanupevents2020.html. Dates and times vary. If you register to lead a cleanup, Clean Virginia Waterways (CVW) of Longwood University will send your group/family a certificate thanking you for your participation in the International Coastal Cleanup in Virginia. In addition, a bandanna will be mailed to the leader of each group. CVW is working with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Clean Project Stream to make 2020 the biggest year ever for cleaner streams, rivers and beaches in Virginia. Please join us.
