The Lotus Flower represents eternity, purity and divinity. Watch your flowers, which represent/honor a life and are made from recycled plastic bottles, float down the Smith River at this unique event and have the chance to win awesome prizes!

Proceeds will help DRBA protect our local rivers and provide environmental education for thousands of youth. Event proceeds will also support Gateway Streetscape Foundation, Inc. which keeps our gateways beautiful, improves our local economy and protects our natural resources. The flowers will be released into the water behind the Bassett Historic center so you can watch from there or from the bridge just downstream. Then you can go down to the next bridge at Bullocks drive and watch from that bridge as they will be capturing the flowers and taking them out of the river there at Smith River Outfitters.
