Free to the public, with doors opening at 9:30 to lay your contribution seeds out upon the appropriate tables, the first annual Central Virginia Seed Exchange will feature door prizes, contests, and informational tables from assorted local charities and non-profit organizations. We will be challenging businesses and the public to not only exchange interesting seeds of everything from rare heirlooms to new introduction cultivar plants, but also make time, money or materials donations to highlighted local groups who like plants, help enhance the lives of those who live in, work in and visit central Virginia. It will be a great place to come network and learn from others.
