The Brock Environmental Center Learning Series presents Marine Mammals in Chesapeake Bay.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Spotting a breaching humpback whale or a pod of dolphins cruising along the beach makes for an exciting, memorable moment on Hampton Roads waters. But why and when do they visit our waterways? How do they depend on a healthy Chesapeake Bay? And how does human activity affect and threaten their populations?

Our upcoming Brock Environmental Learning Series event will answer these questions and more as we explore the variety of marine mammals that visit the Chesapeake Bay throughout the year.

Featuring: Susan G. Barco, Ph.D., Research Coordinator and Senior Scientist with the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center Foundation

This event is free, but space is limited.
