Join us for Bees, Trees, and Clean Water, a workshop that will teach the ins-and-outs of creating habitat in your backyard for bees and other pollinators as well as the role trees play in keeping our streams healthy.

Hosted in partnership with the Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District and the Virginia Department of Forestry, we’ll cover the life cycle of native bees (and honey bees); how native plants attract songbirds, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators to your yard; and the importance of riparian buffers and meadows to keep streams clean.

Lunch will be provided. After lunch, participants are invited to tour a meadow to see what’s thriving.
