Flotsam Flotilla River Cleanup
September 6th: 8 am – 12 pm
Take care of the waters you love! We will be cleaning up not only the Banister, but the Lake and surrounding areas as well. Volunteers will roam the shorelines on foot and cruise the water in boats to clean up trash, an effort that is a tremendous benefit to the river, its wildlife, and the people who visit and enjoy the river and lake.
Gloves, trash bags, drinks, and lunch will be provided but you may want to bring your own gloves and waders or a canoe if you would like to be a part of the river team. Areas for trash pick up along the roads will be available as well for those not wishing to get on the river.
Individuals and civic groups are encouraged to attend.
Registration is required to receive lunch and a free t-shirt.
