Registration is now open for Virginia Conservation Network’s annual Environmental Assembly! Bringing together conservation leaders from across Virginia, the Environmental Assembly provides a forum for discussion on key environmental issues and an opportunity to strategize with like-minded individuals about the best ways to tackle threats to our natural environment.
This year’s Assembly—scheduled Friday, September 9 through Saturday, September 10 in Charlottesville, VA—will feature a lively evening reception; plenty of educational workshops; breakout sessions; and engaging field trips, including a pipeline hike led by Wild Virginia, a kayaking trip down the Rivanna River led by Rivanna Conservation Alliance, and a sustainable winery tour at Barboursville Vineyards.
