Volunteers Needed for
Annual Community Appearance & Litter Index!
The Hampton Clean City Commission will be conducting its 15th annual litter index on Wednesday, September 10 from 8:30 a.m. – approximately 4:00 p.m. Nine volunteers are needed to evaluate Hampton on visible litter, illegal signs, abandoned vehicles, graffiti, and outdoor storage. Volunteers must register to participate and must be 16+ years old. To register, email Debbie Blanton at [email protected].
Participants will be trained and then begin the index, which will continue until all sites are evaluated. Lunch will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather.
This annual index is one of the requirements for HCCC’s good standing as an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc.
