Come out and Celebrate Graves Mountain Heritage Day (a fun-filled outdoor event) which is celebrated annually.  Bring the whole family – we’ll have activities, and exhibits for all ages.

Fishing:   Kids 12 and under can try their skill at fishing, with a limit of 6 fish per child.  Lines can be cast at 9a.m. in Rose River in front of the Lodge. The Rose River is stocked and roped off into age categories. Adults may assist young anglers but are not allowed to fish until after the event.

Exhibits:  Learn about wildlife, practice tying and casting a fly, talk to park rangers, and help monitor the stream.  See live fish and other animals.  Get a lesson in archery or air rifle use, and look at displays of outdoor equipment.  You can even try out your skill at duck or turkey calling!

Prizes:  Everybody gets a free gift.  Make sure you register for hourly prize drawings (9am – 3pm).  Rapidan-Trout Unlimited and VA Department of Game & Inland Fisheries join Graves Mountain Lodge as sponsors of this event.

FREE Admission, FREE Parking.
