On Friday November 14th, Retail Merchants Association (RMA) and Keep Virginia Beautiful (KVB) are teaming up to host an extensive drive-thru recycling event. In addition, general recyclables, electronics and batteries will be collected and there will be on-site paper shredding available. The event is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in RMA’s parking lot, located at 5101 Monument Ave, Richmond, VA 23230, near Willow Lawn.

RMA and KVB will join thousands of local organizers holding recycling events across the country. These events are all orchestrated to celebrate America Recycles Day—the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States.

Businesses and residents are encouraged to bring recyclables to RMA from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This recycling event is supported by Boomerang Recovery, TFC Recycling, Interstate All Batter Center, Henrico County, Richmond City, Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA), and Shred-It.
