We’re Having a Little Get-Together

September is looking to be pretty busy for us. We have our next RVA Community Improvement Blitz on September 11th & 12th, and then we’ll dig in deep to help with the UCI World Championship Race. In the meantime, we thought that we’d have some fun.

On September 16th, our friends at the Garden Club of Virginia are hosting a soiree that we like to call a “Friend Raiser.” As you’re probably aware, it takes a few bucks to keep Virginia beautiful, so your donations that evening will be greatly appreciated and go a long way towards our mission. As you may not know, the fine folks at the Garden Club are kind of experts in beautification. We’re extremely grateful to them for hosting. It will be a great opportunity for you to meet some of us, and more importantly, for us to meet you!

If you’ve not been to the headquarters of the Garden Club, you’re in for a treat. It’s the Kent-Valentine House. It’s in the Monroe Ward district, which is full of history, is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a Virginia Historic Landmark. Built in 1845, it’s one of the last homes in Richmond still surrounded by the original trees. How about that?

Mark out September 16th. We’d love to see you. If you’d like to attend, contact Tiffany Epley.
