This marks the second year in a row the Dan River Basin Association spearheaded a 30 mile river clean-up in Henry County Virginia on the Smith River. DRBA partnered with Bridgestone, Gateway Stretscapes, Henry County and local fishermen and paddlers outting crews in sections along the Smith. Over 30000 tires were pulled from the Smith and recycled for free by Bridgestone. This count is dramatically down fromthe previous years count of 700 +
