Great American Clean Up

On March 24th, KVB along with Altria, Hands On Richmond and The City of Richmond, held a massive Great American Clean-up on the Boulevard between the I-95 and the Diamond.  100+ Volunteers removed 1 ton of litter and debris, planted trees and bushes, counted cigarette butts (almost 9000 butts were retrieved within 2 blocks), and painted a giant mural.  A second clean-up was held on Broad St from Belvidere to 8^th Street on May 13^th.  Volunteers performed similar clean-up and beautification activities.
